A Community Profile for Adur District and Worthing Borough Councils 2008

The Local Strategic Partnerships of Adur and Worthing and the corresponding Councils each need a community profile in order to inform decision making, direct resource allocation and deliver priorities.

A draft version of a community profile for Adur District and Worthing Borough Councils has been produced by the Community Wellbeing Team to serve this purpose.  The document provides a statistical overview of both areas, comprising demographic information (population size, age, ethinicity, religion, marital status, birth rate, death rate, and household data) Indices of Multiple Deprivation statistics, and unemployment figures.

The information provided is intended to be a resource to aid council officers, councillors, partner organisations (especially those constituting both Local Strategic Partnerships) local residents and anyone wishing to find out more about the Borough.  For the full document, please click on the link below:
